Open Space: Design as a key element to make a project work
With Kathy Otto of Luna Red – Produccion Cultural
Sunday October 17th, 11am UK Time / 12pm CET
A workshop in which focus on understanding different aspects of how to make projects work. First there is a short reflection on our experience of failure with projects, second we look into necessary attitudes and aptitudes for carrying out a project, and third we will talk about different design tools you can apply to projects.
Participants will learn about fundamental aspects and tools to design the invisible structures of projects.
The facilitator: Kathy Otto has dedicated over two decades to activism and the question “How to make social transformation work?”. In this search she has studied cultural & social sciences, social theatre (Theatre of Listening), nonviolence, alternative pedagogics, alternative economics, permaculture and many other topics. She has also been part of many struggles, associations and collectives, from local to international level. In this context, the six years spent building a cooperative focused on informal education. Since leaving this project she has been focussed on “Luna Red Producción Cultural”, which creates proposals for cultural transformation, and specially on the question: “How to create projects that really transform society in the long run?”.
